No longer a slave to sin!

As we joined the congregation at Moriones yesterday for their Sunday morning service, we were blessed with a special song shared by a group of young men. Some of them are new Christians who prayed to receive the Lord at a youth camp a few weeks ago (see ‘More Souls Cont.’ Dan’s Journal entry).

It was encouraging and inspirational as they joyfully sang about becoming free from fear and enslavement to sin, and now being born again! Jesus truth sets free! Hallelujah!

Water Baptism

I anticipate returning to Moriones tomorrow evening to help teach and train some of the young men who are interested about the importance and meaning of water baptism. May the Lord help their faith to be built solidly on a good foundation and use them mightily to reach others for Jesus!

Acts 26:16-18

Let’s be reminded of Jesus’s revealed purpose to Paul. “…I have appeared unto you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness … to open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Jesus also has a special purpose for each one of us. May He continue to use all of us to open spiritual eyes, and rescue people from the power of Satan to whole-heartedly and lovingly serve the Lord. Lord hear our prayer!
