Some of you who have been following the entry “Precious Souls – Cont” will find this report especially meaningful. The man mentioned in that testimonial gathers and recycles plastic materials around the city. His son was baptized Dec. 30th after our Sunday service. He came to our mid-week prayer meeting again last Wednesday for the 2nd week in a row.
Bible Reading Goal
He determined to come to our Bible reading rewards dinner. In order to be able to attend, he would have to first finish reading all the way through the New Testament. He told us that he read the New Test in 9 days! Impressive! Sometimes he was reading until 4 a.m.!
Overcoming Temptation
He’s had a chronic problem with alcohol consumption for many years. He recently made a resolution not to drink. He gave a testimony that so far he hasn’t had any alcohol this year. Glory, glory hallelujah!
