Several weeks ago I wrote about some contact we had with one of our neighbors living nearby, who is from Nigeria. He has been in the PH for close to 4 years, undergoing nurse training here.
Last Saturday evening he surprised us by coming over for a visit, which ended up lasting for 2 to 3 hours, late into the evening. It seemed to be a time of sincerely renewing his commitment to serve the Lord, and we had a good time of prayer together.
The next morning he came to church with me, and also shared a testimony before the congregation about the recent transformation in his life that is happening. We also had lunch and several more hours together following the service.
The Word of the Lord is tried in the fires of human experience. We are hoping and praying for continued progress in his life…
