After our Easter Sunday morning service today, we baptized a man who was released from prison around a month ago. He came back to the Lord when in prison, and is continuing to faithfully serve the Lord now. As I talked with his wife after the service, she confirmed that there has been a big change in his life. She is amazed! He gave a powerful testimony in the service, giving praise to the Lord for the wonderful things that He is doing in his life. It was thrilling to see him willing to be baptized so joyfully, today! What a wonderful day to be baptized, as we rejoice in the powerful resurrection life of Jesus! May he continue to walk in newness of life all the days of his life, we pray! Thank you, Jesus, for your mighty work in his life!
