I’m hearing great reports from our ministry team that is bringing “Light Brings Freedom” to the Provincial jail here in Tarlac City. Many are prayerfully crying out to the Lord during their weekly chapel times. PTL!
I was talking with the young man who preached the message there last Thursday. It was about coming out of darkness into God’s light. At the end of the message, he invited those who wanted to leave darkness and experience freedom from habitual sins to come forward. He said he wasn’t sure if anyone would respond. He was so surprised when almost everyone came forward for a special time of prayer! Glory to God!
Prisoners Set Free
It’s estimated that were once again around 50-60 attendees. We praise God for what the Spirit of the Lord is doing there! “Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty”. (2 Corinthians 3:17) I’m also reminded of Isaiah 49:9 where the Lord prophetically says to prisoners to “come out in freedom”, and those that are in darkness to “come into the light”. Jesus came to “proclaim liberty to captives” and set prisoners free. (Luke 4:18; Isaiah 61:1-3)
