Let’s never forget that JESUS is the greatest hero of all time!
So many are looking for super-hero’s, these days. They are entertained by many make-believe, fake characters that are only imaginary, & unreal.
However, it is hard to beat JESUS miracles! They are real! They were seen and testified to by genuine eye-witnesses to the truth. Things like: appearing & disappearing; walking on water; raising people from the dead; opening blind eyes; delivering demon possessed people; healing the crippled; opening deaf ears; etc.
THE MIRACLE OF ETERNAL LIFE
Ultimately, JESUS came back to life himself, and has the power to not only to live forever, but give the gift of eternal life to others as well. The wonderful, miraculous gift of eternal life is one of the greatest miracles of all!
John 20:20,21 – And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have LIFE in His name.
MANY MIGHTY WORKS
Jesus did so many good, MIGHTY things that one of His closest disciples, John, said that the world could not even contain the things that could be said about them!
John 21:25 – And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen.

What are we saved from? We are rescued from the dreadful consequences of sin that leads to death and destruction.

PERSONAL TESTIMONY
I am so thankful to still be alive. Over 6 years ago I was in a hold-up. A masked gunman entered the room where we were sleeping out on a remote island at our mission base. It was around 4-4:30 a.m. It was very dark because we didn’t have electricity at that time.
The gunman shot one of our pastors in his foot, took him hostage, & then commanded him to take him to the Americans at gunpoint. When they pushed through the barricade at the door to our room where my wife and I had been sleeping there under a mosquito net tent, it was very traumatic. The gunman had on a headlamp, with a mask over his face. He held a loaded gun. He pointed the gun at us & rudely demanded that we give him money, or he would kill us!
What would you do, if that were to happen to you? We did what we were able to do at the time, and began loudly crying out to the Lord for help. The Lord miraculously answered our prayers!
The pastor who had been taken hostage bravely grabbed a nearby chair, broke it over the head of the gunman, and began wrestling the gunman for control of the gun. In the midst of it all, several of us got shot, but our lives were spared. I was shot in the arm. I’m so thankful that I was not shot in my vital organs, or I probably would not still be alive today, and able to share this testimony with you. We were in a remote area, and it took us around 15-16 hours to finally get to the nearest hospital & get E.R. assistance.
We were able to survive, and we continue to give testimony to the Lord’s ability to do MIGHTY MIRACLES in response to our prayers! When we called, He answered us, and rescued us from the hand of the enemy (Psalm 107:2). Hallelujah!!
JESUS IS A MIGHTY CONQUEROR
John 16:33 – “These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have OVERCOME the world.” (JESUS)

He conquered sin, death, and hell (I Corinthians 15:54-57; I John 3:8; Romans 8:2-3; Revelation 1:5,18)
The veil in the temple was torn from top to bottom
Matthew 27:51 – …Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. 51 Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, …54 So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”
The veil was miraculously torn open, showing us that the way into the Lord’s presence is now accessible through His sacrificial death on the cross. We are now made righteous through Him, and the power of His blood.
WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS
Romans 8:37 – Yet in all these things we are more than CONQUERORS through Him who loved us..
MANY MORE MIGHTY ACTS
JESUS
Acts 10:38-40 – God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did... 40 Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly… through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”
Jesus continues to show forth His MIGHTY POWER. He is alive forever, King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Revelation 17:14). He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
PETER RELEASED FROM JAIL (Acts 12:1-19)
James (John’s brother) had been killed by Herod. He also imprisoned Peter, and was just getting ready to do something to him to please the Jews. However prayer was made unceasingly by the church. Peter was miraculously rescued by an angel, and released from prison. In the night his chains fell off, the iron gates and bars were opened, and he escaped. He went to the house where they were praying for him. They could hardly believe it! He was a walking miracle of God’s MIGHTY POWER!
REVELATION OF THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD (I Kings 18:21-40)
The Israelites were double-minded. Some of them were involved with idolatrous worship, worshipping Baal. Elijah called for a show-down. The God who answered by fire was to be the true and living God.
Elijah prepared the sacrifice, and then not only dumped water on it, but poured 4 barrels of water on it 3 times, until water even filled the trench around it.
When he prayed the fire from God fell. It consumed the sacrifice, wood, stones, dust, and even the water in the trench as well! The people were amazed! They said, “the Lord, He is God!” “The Lord, He is God!” We can truly say in addition to that – “The Lord, He is a MIGHTY GOD!”
MIGHTY DELIVERANCE FROM THE FIERY FURNACE (Daniel 3)
Nebuchadnezzar made a golden image. All were to bow to it in worship. 3 Hebrew men refused to bow to or worship the idol. Even in the face of death, and the threat by the king to throw them into a burning, fiery furnace they remained faithful to the Lord,& declared, “Our God is able to deliver us”!
The king commanded his most mighty men to throw the 3 Hebrews into the fiery furnace. The flames of the fire slew the men that threw them in because of the intense heat.
Although they were thrown into the furnace, the Lord miraculously preserved the 3 Hebrews. They were not hurt at all. When the king looked through the door into the furnace He saw a fourth man with them, “like unto the Son of God”. JESUS was right there with them in their fiery furnace trial of faith. Jesus demonstrated his loving power & MIGHT, the men were honored and promoted, & the king proclaimed to the nations the MIGHTY signs & wonders the Lord had done!
DELIVERANCE FROM THE LION’S DEN
Daniel was a faithful, faultless, and praying man – a true servant of the living God. When his jealous enemies had him thrown into a den of lions, the Lord heard his prayers and did a MIGHTY miracle. The Lord miraculously protected Daniel because he believed in God!
However, when his wicked enemies & their families got thrown into the lions den, they were immediately eaten and killed!
The Lord displayed His MIGHTY POWER to the world! Then king Darius made a decree that all nations fear the God of Daniel, the living God, who had delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

Here’s a quick summary. Pete was on a mission trip to Thailand. He was almost totally out of money, and cried out to the Lord for a financial miracle. During the night, when he reached into his pocket, he discovered an amazing answer to his prayers. He pulled a stack of 1,000 bills that was the exact answer to his prayers!
Is the Lord able to do MIGHTY things? Amen!!
MIRACLE OFFERING
Recently, I heard a pastor give an amazing testimony about another miraculous financial provision that happened to them.
They have an extensive online broadcasting ministry that is impacting the nations. A family who had never heard of them previously began watching their online services this year. The family was so blessed that they wanted to give a donation to help the pastor and his church spread the gospel to the nations.
That week the church had received in the mail a donation check for 1 million dollars!!

A HEALED BACK & SALVATION

In brief, a man was having so much back pain that he could barely even crawl. When he was prayed for, the Lord touched his back, healed him, and his life was so impacted by the miracle that both he and his wife wanted to pray to receive the Lord!

Woman healed from depression
Recently a friend told us about a 27 year old young woman who was suffering from depression, and taking sleeping pills because she couldn’t sleep at night. She was prayed for. Now she is doing well. She stopped taking the medication. She burned all her new age and horoscope books. Now she is reading the Bible – even all day, sometimes!! HALLELUJAH!!

A few weeks ago we prayed with a woman after our Sunday service in Balanti. She wanted prayer for her brother who was in ICU at the hospital. When she came to the mid-week prayer meeting, she felt that the Lord spoke to her “not to worry, He would heal him” – & that her brother was going to be ok. The following day her brother was released from ICU to go to the recovery room, and he is out of the hospital now. PTL!
GOD OF MIRACLES
OUR GOD IS A GOD OF MIRACLES! With God all things are possible!
He’s Almighty! Nothing is too difficult for Him!
He’s able to save & deliver! He’s a mighty conqueror!
He answers prayer! He does MIGHTY THINGS!
