PROPHETIC “RHEMA”
A few weeks ago we were very impressed by these following verses in Isaiah…
Isaiah 8:10-14 – (a prophetic word from the Lord) “…Call your councils of war (enemy), but they will be worthless. Develop your strategies, but they will not succeed. For God is with us (people of God)!” 11) The Lord has said to me in the strongest terms: “Do not think like everyone else does. 12) Do not be afraid that some plan conceived behind closed doors will be the end of you. 13) Do not fear anything except the Lord Almighty. He alone is the Holy One. If you fear Him, you need fear nothing else. 14) He will keep you safe…
These verses are so faith-building and comforting! We know that God is with us, and for us! (Matthews 1:23; Romans 8:31,32) We do not need to fear our enemies! Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world! (John 4:4) Hallelujah!
Just like the Lord fought for Judah, and brought the counsel of their enemies to nothing, He will also help us, as we faithfully trust Him.
God’s truth prevails! False prophecies and strategies of the enemy are worthless! They won’t succeed. God is with us! He promises to keep us safe!
TRIALS OF FAITH
In whatever trying circumstances that you may be facing right now, take heart! TRUST IN THE LORD! He can safely be TRUSTED!
I Peter 1:7 – That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
THE LORD WILL PREVAIL
The Lord is the true and living God that we serve and worship, and He brings victory! HALLELUJAH!
I Corinthians 15:57 – …thanks be to God, who gives us the VICTORY through our Lord Jesus Christ.
I John 5:4 – For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
The Lord guaranteed that Assyria’s plans would fail (through Isaiah) because God was with Judah! Isaiah boldly declared that the plans, strategies, and counsel of their enemies would not succeed because – “God was with them!”
God is with us, tool!
IMMANUEL – “GOD WITH US”
Isaiah 7:14 – …Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel (Emmanuel),
Matthew 1:23 – “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”
I John 4:4 – You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
Matthew 28:20 – (Jesus) “…I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

ENEMIES DEFEATED

TRUST – DO NOT DOUBT!
Let’s fight off all doubts and fears when we are tempted with them, and choose to put our trust in the Lord!
In Isaiah 8, we are encouraged not to think like everyone else does. Don’t think like the world, and all of the pagan nations. Don’t think and act like them! Don’t copy their behaviors and customs! God has much better plans for us!
Isaiah 8:11 – …“Do not think like everyone else does...”
Romans 12:2 – …do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
— Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. (TPT)
— Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (TLT)
The Israelites got into big trouble when they didn’t nurture their faith, but gave place to their doubts and fears in the wilderness!
Sometimes we fear the circumstances and listen to the wrong things and wrong people that instill fear in us, and cause our hearts to be afraid. Let’s not get bullied and intimidated by the world around us. LET’S TRUST GOD! Let’s be strong and courageous! Let’s choose to carefully listen to God! His words produce faith!
Romans 10:17 – …faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
DO NOT FEAR!
Isaiah 8:12 – “Don’t believe their every conspiracy rumor. And don’t fear what they fear—don’t be moved or terrified,
Don’t believe the lies of the enemy that produce fear and unbelief! Stand your ground! Don’t be moved from the true promises of God! Hold on to His Word, and declare the Word of God! The “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach)… (Romans 10:8).
Psalm 91:6 – Don’t fear a thing! Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you, nor will the powers of evil be launched against you.

FAITH CONFESSION
Psalm 27:1,3 – “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?… My heart will not fear even if an army rises to attack. I will not be shaken, even if war is imminent.”
Psalm 118:6 – “The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
ANTI-CHRIST PLANS WILL NOT SUCCEED
Destructive plans, strategies, and all the deceptive lies, plots and dreadful tricks and traps of our enemies ultimately will not succeed, for God is with us and for us!
Sometimes we listen to the deceptive lies and propaganda of our enemies, instead of meditating on the truth of God’s Word. The enemy is trying to motivate fear. We don’t need to fear what they fear, or what they are saying. We don’t have to be shaken in our faith, or terrified by their conspiracies.
The Lord is telling us not to fear! Let’s boldly stand our ground, standing on the true promises of God!
The plans and strategies of the enemy and forces of darkness will NOT SUCCEED! (Isaiah 8:10)
FEAR GOD, NOT MAN
Isaiah 8:12-13 – Do not be afraid that some plan conceived behind closed doors will be the end of you. 13) Do not fear anything except the Lord Almighty. He alone is the Holy One. If you fear Him (the Lord), you need fear nothing else.
— Make the Lord of Heavens Armies holy in your life. He is the one you should fear! He is the one who should make you tremble.(NLT)
Maintaining proper fear of God has to do with awesome respect and reverence. We acknowledge His Lordship, Sovereignty and Supremacy. We recognize that there are dreadful consequences for unrighteousness, and rewards for the righteous.

Jesus is the one we can go to for safety, protection and help in the midst of the storms of life. In the midst of the windy storms and violent waves He is with us, to bring peace and safety. Isaiah 32:2 – A man (Jesus) will be as a hiding place from the wind, and a cover from the tempest, as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
HEAVY BURDENS LIFTED
Jesus says, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30
Are there some things in your life that seem too heavy to bear? Are you feeling rather overwhelmed in the midst of many adverse circumstances? Never give up! God is in control! Don’t give place to fear, doubt, or discouragement! Come to Jesus! He is the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:1-2) Jesus provides help, safety and a place of refuge in times of need. Revelation 22:17 – And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.
GOD IS FAITHFUL

God is with us! We do not need to fear! He is a faithful God! His promises are true! We can safely TRUST HIM!
