Isaiah 42:12 – Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands.

MISSION TRIP TO OUR MISSIONS BASE IN POLILLIO ISLANDS
We just got back earlier this week from a wonderful time once again at our missions base in Norte, Patnanugan, Polillio Islands.
It is in a remote region. It involves a major effort by boat to travel there, but it is well worth the time and effort extended to see precious lives touched with the powerful gospel message about Jesus!

Along with various ministries, we were very busy with maintenance and renovations at beach-head there. Many repairs were needed. We were busy with paint projects, windows and doors, restroom rennovations, roof repairs, tiles, installation of a stairs, building railings for the terrace and loft, water system and supply needs, etc… There is still so much more to be done to help it become more suitable, usable, beautiful, and glorious for the Lord! “O Lord, help us we pray!”

MORE BAPTISMS
While we were there, one of the highlights for me was to see the response among some of those needing to be baptized. Of course, that’s one of the clear mandates in the Great Commission Jesus gave – “Go… baptizing in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…” teaching people to do all of the things that He has commanded. (Matthew 28:
I was amazed to see the power of the Word of God in their response, as we taught them HIs word. We shared several teaching sessions about water baptism with some who didn’t know if they were interested to be baptized or not. They didn’t know much about it, and had their hesitations. After seeing and hearing what the Word has to say about it, and how meaningful and important baptism is, several of them could hardly wait to be baptized! They were asking to do it “right now”!
After the morning service last Sunday, 4 more precious souls were baptized there in the ocean. (Another one was planning to get baptized then too, but his baptism was postponed because he was sick that day). It was a stormy, windy day so we were kinda rolling around in the waves a bit – but we were able to get it done! Glory to God! Hallelujah!!
Below are some pictures that were taken at our baptismal service there in the ocean…
