At our Sunday service today (May 11, 2025), both a man and his wife in one of our congregations gave testimony to the appearance of an angel very early in the morning, around a week ago. Below is a summary of their testimonies.
Psalm 91
Their habit before going to sleep at night is to regularly quote Psalm 91, believing and praying God’s promises for angelic protection over them and their family.
Early that morning the husband awakened. He saw the appearance of a big angel with wings sitting there on the bed cradling his wife’s head in his hand. He said it was an experience he will never forget. He was able to describe in detail the form and features of the angel that he saw. When the angel looked him in the eyes, he was in awe. It brought him to tears of repentance.
It lasted for around a minute of so, then the angel disappeared. That was the first time he had ever seen an angel. It helped bring full assurance to him of the truth contained in Scripture about guardian angels.
Psalm 91:11-12
He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
